Born in Trieste, Italy, Dr. Cordini grew up living in various parts of the world before pursuing an MBA and a career in banking. However, he found this experience less than satisfying and went back to school to become a periodontist to serve other people in a rewarding and authentic capacity. He began his dental education at the Creighton University School of Dentistry and then completed the training required to specialize in periodontics at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
This additional experience focuses on repairing and replacing teeth and gums that have suffered trauma, cavities, or age-related wear. Dr. Cordini’s extensive studies included concentrations in recognizing and treating mouth and jaw diseases with both surgical and prosthetic interventions, so he is qualified to handle even the most complex cases.
Today, Dr. Cordini takes pride in getting to know patients so he can provide long-term solutions that help them build and maintain their happiest, healthiest smiles. He’s exceptionally skilled at diagnosing the underlying cause of your dental problems, whether due to poor oral hygiene, genetics, misalignments, disease, decay, or other issues. He’s also passionate about patient comfort and is licensed to administer sedatives, like nitrous oxide, to help you feel calm and relaxed throughout your visit, regardless of the reason for it.
Now that he considers himself a permanent Lousivillian, Dr. Cordini enjoys watching college basketball while enjoying hot wings or spending time with his beautiful family exploring the outdoors near Indian Hills when he’s not busy saving someone’s smile.
